Our Staff

The Norfolk and Norwich Plastic Surgery Department is a world-renowned unit comprising a team of 13 consultant plastic surgeons, specialist nurses, therapists and administrative staff.

Who do we work with?

We work with many different departments, including trauma, oncology, dermatology and paediatrics.

Patients requiring surgery for tumours of the head and neck will frequently require reconstructive surgery by one of our team, and we work closely with ENT and maxillofacial colleagues as well as speech and language therapists, physiotherapists and specialist nurses to provide a technologically advanced, comprehensive and caring service to our patients.

Five of our consultants have specialist paediatric plastic surgery training in their sub-specialty areas, and as a team we provide a comprehensive service that covers a large portion of the North and East of the region, from King’s Lynn, Ipswich, the James Paget University Hospital and a dedicated outreach clinic in Ipswich.

Our paediatric plastics consultants also have close links with the Anglia Cleft Lip and Palate service based at Addenbrooke’s, and the Craniofacial service at Great Ormond Street.
